PowerCL: eXtreme CL (XCL) Downloads

You have the choice of three options when downloading the XCL product. Note that your system must be at V5R4 or higher of the i operating system in order to run XCL commands.

Option 1 is to download the base and all options of XCL as a zip file by clicking here. This zip file contains:

  • vc2xcl.savf - a save file containing the XCL base along with all currently available options
  • XCL Installation Reference manual

 

Option 2 is to download specific options of the XCL product as zip files. You must, prior to restoring any command category option of XCL, install the base option so make sure to click on Base option.

When downloading individual XCL options you should always download the most recent base option file to assure that you have the most current level of the base runtime support.

Option 3 is to receive the vc2clf.savf save file as an attachment in an email note. To use this option send an email note to support@brucevining.com. The save file you will receive will contain all options of the XCL product. A separate attachment will be the XCL Installation Reference manual.
